What is Spinal Flow?

Spinal Flow is a powerful and gentle energy healing technique that focuses on balancing the body’s nervous system and promoting overall well-being. How Spinal Flow Works

Spinal Flow uses light touch and energy flow techniques to stimulate the nervous system and the spinal column. During a session, you will lie comfortably on a massage table while light pressure is applied at the base of your spine or on your head to activate the body’s natural energy flow, guiding it to where tension, stress or blockages may have built up along the spine.  

Your spine acts as a central channel for the nervous system and energy pathways in your body.  By working with the flow of energy, Spinal Flow encourages greater ease and balance, helping your body and mind to align and work cohesively together.

As energy flows more freely the body’s innate intelligence is able to get to work clearing blockages that have been created throughout your lifetime.  These blockages may be due to physical, emotional and chemical stress.

Spinal Flow doesn’t involve forceful adjustments; instead, it supports your body’s natural rhythms, allowing healing and balance to unfold at your own pace.

What to Expect During a Session

When you arrive for your first Spinal Flow session, you’ll be guided to relax in a comfortable space. You will remain fully clothed during the session, so there’s no need to change.  Simply lie down on the treatment table, close your eyes, and take a few deep breaths to let go of the outside world.

Gentle light touch is applied on specific areas on the spine and on the head, with a focus to allow the body’s innate intelligence to begin guiding removal of blockages that exist.  During the session the movement of energy is encouraged to reestablish flow in the nervous system where disruptions in that flow currently exist.

In sessions you may notice sensations as energy moves through your body.  Some people also experience emotions that may surface during the process, emotions that have been stuck and unable to be expressed.  

Every session can feel uniquely different and while I cannot tell you specifically what you will experience each time you come, I can tell you change occurs that your body’s own innate intelligence guides.  I assist in that process.

Prior to your first session we will conduct a quick evaluation.  For the first session anticipate an hour to conduct the evaluation, talk about the Spinal Flow process and for your first half hour session.  Sessions after that will last a full half hour.

What to wear

For your assessment at the first visit and for your Spinal Flow sessions you will be fully clothed.  Please wear loose fitting clothing, no shapewear, tight fitting leggings such as yoga pants or jeans as they interfere with the access points for the session.
